Cinzia Meneghello: Enchanted Greenwich

A Solo Exhibition at the Greenwich Botanical Center

Semi-abstract 3d flower artwork.

Cinzia Meneghello: Enchanted Greenwich celebrates Connecticut’s natural beauty, reimagining it as a luminous ecosystem blooming with vibrant organic forms, fairytale beings, and symbolic motifs. From abstract florals to whimsical illustrations and intricate, multi-layered large fantasy paintings, each piece reveals nature as a space where wonder and imagination flourish, and where the sacred, the joyful, and the magical harmoniously coexist.

Rooted in her deep connection to the local flora and fauna, the artist distills botanical and animal forms into expressive colors and textures. Evocative figures often emerge from ethereal, semi-abstracted landscapes, glowing in dreamy hues delicately accented by gold and ivory lights.  Created largely on paper, these works combine an impressive array of media such as watercolors, gouache, inks, carved textured grounds, pastels, oils, graphite, acrylics, tempera, as well as natural materials such as petals and leaves, making the paintings feel as tactile and alive as the environments that inspired them.

A percentage of the sale of the artwork will be donated to Greenwich Botanical Center.

In the Press!

The exhibition is featured in a wonderful article written by Amelia Woodhouse for the Greenwich Sentinel (“Enchanted Greenwich Finds Wonder in the Natural World”, 9-24-2026, pg. 22)

“At Greenwich Botanical Center this fall, flowers, animals, gold, and imagination come together in an exhibition that looks closely at Connecticut’s natural landscape. […] The result is a body of work rooted in Connecticut without remaining strictly representational. Flowers become fields of color, figures emerge from landscapes, and recognizable natural forms appear alongside fairy-tale beings and symbolic image […]”
