Special Illustration Project
in collaboration with Repurpose Your Purpose + IWUSA
This illustration was drawn digitally in Photoshop for the workshop organized by Italian Women USA and led by Aurora Meneghello (my sister!) at Repurpose Your Purpose. The theme of this “circle” – Il tempo e il luogo: l’esperienza da immigrata, or Time and Place: The Immigrant Experience – was to share the participants’ experiences in a foreign country. The words were added after listening to the small groups’ summaries. They are meant to convey some of the main “feelings” shared by the Italian immigrants present at the event.
