My daily walks in Fort Tryon, NYC sometimes end at the Met Cloisters museum. I love the famous Unicorn Tapestries. They – together with the beautiful nature in the park and the architecture of the museum itself – have been of inspiration for the creation of some illustrations… What if all this turned into a fairytale where the unicorn is not hunted and killed, but magically discovered, transformed and freed by fairy angels?
